My recent Costa Mesa clients were this close to signing a lease. Instead, they called me to “just look” at what was out there. The home had started at $1.525M and caught their eye after inching down to $1.465M. No offers on it yet, but I could tell the market was having a moment. A slowdown, a seasonal stall, call it what you want, I just call it opportunity.
We discussed writing an offer and jumped in, knowing that it was contingent upon us securing “a deal.” If a deal could not be made, they would move on. We closed at $1.325M this week, one of lowest sales in the community in over year, and more upgraded than several that sold for more.
