I started working on these Newport Beach duplexes in February, 2024. The same family had owned them since the 1960s, and they were ready to move on.
After 17 1/2 months on the market, I had received a total of 10 offers, had 5 different escrows, powered through an election, worked through a shifting market, buyers had financing issues, buyers had down-leg delays, and I hosted more open houses than I can count. Every weekend, “day and nite”, our team showed up, adjusting strategy, offering staging, cleaning, and even buying all of the furniture myself to help seal the deal.
This wasn’t quick, or easy, but it was worth it. My focus never wavered from what the seller wanted. Some sales move fast, others take time, these needed grit, patience, and the right buyer.
And now? CLOSED.The longest listings of my 20+ year career are officially in the books.
